Project Gallery > Opus 4 for the University of Oregon School of Music
Opus 4 for the University of Oregon School of MusicOpus 4 is an 11-stop mechanical-action practice instrument we're building for the University of Oregon School of Music. It is replacing an 8-stop Flentrop damaged in a sub-basement flood in late 2007.
We will be using several ranks of pipes and some action components from the Flentrop to provide a nicer, more tonally complete instrument.
The disposition is as follows:
Manual I
8' Principal (wood)* 8' Gedackt (metal) 4' Octave (wood) 4' Flute (metal) 2' Principal (metal)
Manual II (expressive)
8' Rohrflute (metal) 8' Oak Gedackt (quarter-sawn white oak)* 4' Koppelflute (metal) 2 2/3' Nasard (metal) 8' Regal (metal)
Pedal
16' Soubass (wood) 8' Gedackt (Man I) 4' Rohrflute (metal)
