Trennschiede is a German word which roughly means: divider slats. These are used in windchests when reed stops are present; they help prevent wind oscillation in the channel. They are the little nubs sticking up out of the ribs on the right. The blocks sticking out on the left are the rear pallet pin blocks, before being planed flush with the ribs.
