Project Gallery > 1968 von Beckerath practice instrument
1968 von Beckerath practice instrumentThis three-rank mechanical-action pipe organ was recently purchased from the estate of an organist in Eugene, Oregon. We received the contract to dismantle and remove the instrument to our shop for a thorough cleaning and regulation before installation at Walla Walla University in Washington state.
The lower manual contains a 4' Rohrflute, the upper manual contains an 8' metal Gedackt. The pedal is provided by a wooden 8' Gedackt.
The organ will be installed in early February at Walla Walla University. You can learn more about Walla Walla University's music program by going to my "Links" page (in the vertical list on the left of your computer screen) and clicking on their link. |
